Thus, we are ideally suited to provide your business with both short and long-term guidance in connection with the recruitment, hiring, transfer of international personnel to the United States. Indeed, we regularly provide these services to businesses of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, nationwide, in a variety of industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, software, chemicals,  hospitality, laboratory testing, wireless telecommunications, health care, equipment rental, real estate services, travel, digital advertising, executive relocation, multi-media, and manufacturing.

In addition to our corporate and business clients, the Immigration Law Group also represents the interests of self-petitioning foreign nationals seeking investment opportunities in the United States,  including E-2 Nonimmigrant Treaty Investors and Immigrant Investors seeking U.S. permanent residence under the EB-5 program.as well as those with extraordinary ability and those seeking National Interest Waiver approval.

Immigration worksite enforcement by federal authorities has ramped up to unprecedented levels and shows no signs of abating. Employer’s must therefore focus on Form I-9 compliance.  The substantial increase in the number of I-9 audits and related arrests by U.S. Immigration and Custom’s Enforcement (ICE), coupled with the doubling of civil penalties, makes this a looming threat to small businesses and larger corporations alike. ICE has a stated goal of doubling the number of Notices of Inspection (NOI) served on employers from 2,281 year to date to 5,000 by September 30, 2018.  Employer arrests (through the I-9 audit process) are up 91% year-over-year and administrative (alien) arrests are up 255% over the same period. Timing, experience and knowledge in defending your business and its principals in this area is critical to protect your business against potential liability.   We are deeply experienced in this area and in all business immigration matters.

In addition to our business practice, we also possess extensive experience representing individuals of extraordinary ability in the O-1 and EB-1 (greencard) context, in diverse fields including all facets of the performing arts (dancers, actors, painters and sculptors, to name a few) to songwriters, composers, sound engineers, music managers, and music agents as well as scientists, authors, inspirational speakers, celebrity chefs, professional athletes and a variety of business people. We also have extensive experience working with museums, festivals, music labels, management agencies, recording studios and concert organizers

With offices in Newark, New Jersey, Meyner and Landis LLP is ideally located for providing immigration services to businesses and individuals throughout the State of New Jersey. To the contrary, our practice is international in scope representing multi-national employers all over the world.
